Farmer's Market

I love Madison. This past Saturday was the first summer Farmer's Market for the season. The vendors all line up around Capitol Square. Our fav is the Hot & Spicy Cheese Bread from Stella's Bakery's tent. We enjoy people watching, which would be our second favorite thing about the Farmer's Market. There isn't a whole lot available yet in veggies because it's so early in the season, but there were a lot of spinach, mushrooms, & potatoes, in addition to the usual meats, bakeries, honeys, syrups, flowers, etc. We walked around, devoured our cheese bread (which we decided we can't get more than once a month) and shared a big strawberry mango smoothie. Heavenly! Pure happiness in a simple form :)
