Happy Holidays

Whew, back from a relaxing holiday break with family! We had a great time and that makes coming back to schedules and real life a bit rougher. We had a fun Christmas evening and day after with my family in Rockton & Huntley, IL. Watching 10 little kids tear into packages under the tree and chaos flying :) We watched a LOT of movies, and ate way too many goodies. We went ice skating, had a family portrait taken at a studio, had a pizza party for my niece's 12th birthday, and played games. Then we spent the 27th-1st with Doug's family in Batavia, IL. We shopped more than we should have (oops!), played with the two adorable baby nieces, went to Church, I read some, we had a "rerun" Christmas on the 29th and opened stockings & presents, had the big fancy dinner, toasted with the "mormon" bubbly on New Year's, and played our new Wii NONSTOP that we got as a Christmas present. We rocked out to Tennis and Shaun White Snowboarding into the late night every day! Unfortunately, we never got around to visiting with ANY friends while we were down there, but the family time was quality and it's so rare that all three of the Weight boys are together with their families. We'll catch ya'all on the flipside- or next time we're down there and it's just us ;) I hope all of you had a tremendous holiday season, hope Santa was good to you, hope everyone is happy and healthy, and wish you good luck on all of your New Year's resolutions!
